Let me tell you a little more about me.
I am a Christian writer and blogger. The youngest of four daughters born into a loving Italian-American family, I was married to a very special man who died too soon for me. I am the proud mom of two very special young women, step-mom of a quick-witted son, mother-in-law to his talented wife, and rightfully biased grandmother of two adorable girls. I am grateful to be the friend of many amazing women and men.
I am sincerely humbled by the opportunities I’ve had to find purpose and meaning in my life, home, career, church and community. I’ve been able to find enjoyable work, to love and be loved, to give back and receive more, and to lean more and more into the Maker’s vision for my life.
My relationship with God has been fueled by quiet moments with a bible, my journal and a cup of coffee on the back porch or in the green chair in my living room. Many of the moments included my late husband, Paul, through whom God taught me to love, forgive, be faithful and grow in ways far beyond my best dreams.
This blog is my way of sharing my thoughts and reflections on the everyday experiences of my life. My hope is to encourage, inform, inspire – and maybe even entertain – you with the stories I share.

I too loved Sound of Music, it was wonderful, although I bought the video years ago I am still able to watch it again and again (we kept a VCR and DVD player). Thank you for sharing your thoughts; you are a good writer as I was intrigued right to the end of your blog.
